Gorakhpur — Samajwadi Party Member of Parliament from Mainpuri, Dimple Yadav, launched a sharp attack on the BJP government, accusing it of failing farmers, youth, women, and the general public through unfulfilled promises, poor governance, and rising hardships.
Speaking to the media during her visit to Gorakhpur, Dimple Yadav said, “The BJP government has disappointed everyone. Law and order in Uttar Pradesh is in shambles, unemployment is rising, and inflation is unchecked. Women are facing increasing harassment and insecurity.”
“Constitutional Rights Being Suppressed”
Highlighting recent events, Yadav condemned the administration for preventing opposition leaders from meeting traders displaced due to the controversial Virasat Corridor project. She stated that Leader of Opposition in Assembly Mata Prasad Pandey and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Lal Bihari Yadav were stopped en route by authorities and surrounded by BJP members with bulldozers to block them from interacting with affected traders. “This is a clear violation of their constitutional rights,” she said.
